Anyone got this gauge in the truck?

like the old style, i.e. gauges instead of high tech stuff:p
considering a second A/F gauge for the right manifold :p, installed on a steering column pod but then i have hole in the 3 gauge pillar pod hence my question how much fun it is to have the D-pic:dontknow:

YUP! I have one mounted in the single steering column pod from autometer! Looks sweeeeeet at night! Here is a pic of the gauge and pod:p

Ehhhh, it seems to be close on everything...sometimesi get a high h.p. number for some reason. But i love it and the way the colored bar graph looks at night...i get some good comments on it at car shows etc

where did you got it from? performance-r-us on ebay seems the cheapest so far ... (got my A/F and vacuum gauge from them aswell)

I got it from another member (FastRedSRT10)when he traded his truck in and i believe he got it right from autometer, but i ll double check with him. I scored it for free from him:)

install

acc the instruction (see autometer webpage for that) it's only 3 wire:
ground/ignition/dash lighting...

How hard was it to install?

Very easy, 3 wire hook up...power, ground, and dash light source. TThe pod simply slides over the column and is held in place by my shift light screw, but double side tape is on the rear if you choose to use that.

the gauge pod is a condom for the steering column....:dontknow:
talk about safe driving.:D

Was the A/F guage hard to install?

Nah, simular : power via ignition and ground. the rest (Wide open throttle switch and datalogger) I didn't use. And of course the 02 sensor but that's a one on one connector.

I looked at the other meter and I saw it on Amazon for $169. I know here in the the states they give free shipping. Don't know much about the shipping overseas.. :dontknow: It looks like a fun gauge to have!

I am thinking about the A/F ratio gauge since that seems to be one of the most important guages our trucks should have. :dontknow:

153 at performance-r-us.:D
I will ship it to our sales office in Charlotte NC and get some colleague bring it over next time he visits Belgium:rock:

I got a wide band. Since it's in the left midpipe I don't know the situation on the other 5 cilinders... I want to have some idea about the A/F cause I'm running on LPG(CNG) just to be safe...

Would the A/F gauge work any better if you put the sensor in a X-pipe or a H-pipe? Then if would read combined mix of air from all cylinders??

ya i have that dpic meter as well on the steering column... looks neat . basicly usless... but if you need to fill a pod that will work.... i think a af meter digitial would be of more use and looks simular
