Anyone Have A Guardian Generator?

ive replaced lots of altenators (the rotor and stator) on generacs. the engine usually lasts as long as preventative maintence is done yearly. the new gen 3's are nice with their digital pannels. the ats(automatic transfer switch) is pretty reliable also.

well I've had it a while now, and do run it evrey month, I load it up with my central air, have had no problems with it. I am a diesel mechanic by trade and work for the utillity so I should be able to keep up with the maitanence..
thanks for the warning though..
as for the auto tranfer sw I preffered not to install that set up, as I do not need the unit starting @ 3:00am for 15 min because some dumb ass hit a light pole and it takes the power company that long to re-route power..
