Anyone have stock muffler with catless mids and bassani's?

Power sticks are just too loud for me... I have 26" power sticks that have less than 500 miles on them. Just too much.

I loved the sound of the magnaflow but that thing fell apart. I dont want to buy a full system as I only need mufflers.

How does the stock muffler sound with bassani's and catless mids? Anyone have a sound clip? Will the stock muffler hold up?

Wish I new what mufflers the previous owner put on mine....But they are some sort of 36 in glass packs ---sounds pretty good with very little droan in the cab.

No problems with the welds or anything else, sounds great, running what you posted, no cats and Bassani's.

I know... The older ones seem to hold up... How do you figure out an older one from the newer ones? Plus, you can't just buy the magnaflow muffler with the entire CB system.

I have the stock Borla muffler in my garage. I put on 26" Powersticks too, but I like the way they sound. I'm running Gibson headers, but still got all my cats. If you wanna trade my Borla muffler for your sticks let me know. I could use em on my 62.

The Borla was on there from the dealer and I took it off at 18,000 miles 3 years later. Physically it still looks pretty good. I'll try and dig it up soon and post a pic or 2.

Power Sticks too high pitched and raspy for my liking. I think I lost some low end torque as well due to no back pressure.

I like a deeper tone.. I think the magnaflow with catless mids and headers sound awesome. I love the pop on decel that magnaflow gives you too...

Take a pic of the borla, if you are able.. Great. My power sticks are tack welded on so I will have a shop take them off properly for trade or resale later.

Hey guys I have the complete stock muffler from the exhaust manifold to the Tips. I bought Billy Boat Headers, catless mids with cutouts and B&B Catback.
My stock muffler has only 8k miles dont know if anyone is interested.

might try an X pipe, venom power didn't like the powersticks either but had an x pipe put in and now it sounds great, think he has headers and catless mids also

sounded pretty good to me. thats how I had it for a while. i never really liked the magnaflow sounds.
