Anyone know what shift this is?

The stockers are very well insulated for noise, lots of noise and whining can almost gurantee it is some kind of aftermarket. I went from stocker to a B&M and unreal how noisy it got. It narrowed and shortened the pattern which is why I upgraded. In the process of installing 1/4" Leather between shifter arm and shifter assembly to eliminate the noise passing through the assembly to the stick.

The noise and the close pattern with no slack makes it hard for me to believe its a cut stock. But I haven't had enough seat time at all to be sure....

From all that you are describing, sounds like a Gen I or II JTSVP shifter. A bit noisy like others yes, but very well made. The Gen II is great....billet, tight throw, and a set screw for lateral pressure. Works.
IMHO.

That handle reminds me of my old gen 1 venom shifter. That thing sucked. i hope the previous owner lied and it wasnt already adjusted. I got rid of that thing in less than 2 weeks i think. 2-3 sucked and reverse was hard to get to.

This is a better pic, I hope I didn't get the shitty one....
