I just spoke to my door dealer and he called the plant. The funnel cloud passed within 1/2 mile from their location. They were standing out front and watched it form, kick up some debris and move off. Whew!!

That same junk is heading this way! It's a nasty line from northern AL to southern KY. A tornado warning was just issued one county west of here. It should get real interesting in the next hour or so . . . :)

Luckily, there are two decent sized mountains west of here (on the border of the county that's been issued the warning). That usually keeps us pretty safe in the Chattanooga area. . . (usually)

Stay safe everyone!

It went through here last night, but the worst of it was South of us in Mena. It tore the shit out of that place, dropped apple size hail and numerous tornados. Hope everyone down the line weathers it ok, it was ugly though this part of the world!

Here is what my work provided us with...Hope it helps:

Tornados and severe thunderstorms are threatening a wide area of the Southern United States, from the Ohio River across the Tennessee Valley and into the Deep South. Tornados and high winds have already affected areas in Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas where storms are being blamed for three deaths. Attached is a flier to provide you with resources if you or a family member live(s) in the affected area.

To make sure your pet is prepared:
• Pets are not allowed in evacuation centers and shelters. Only animals such as Seeing Eye dogs are permitted.
• If you live in an evacuation zone and plan to go where your pet will not be welcome, make arrangements for a safe place for your pet prior to an Emergency.
• Call your veterinarian to find out where you can board your pet if an Emergency should arise.
• Contact hotels and motels in non-evacuation areas to see if they will allow you and your pet to stay with them during an Emergency.
• Make sure you have supplies for your pets for 2 weeks.

Yeah whats going on with you guys.:dontknow:

It was BAD here a little while ago, about three of those damn things came down near me and I may have damage to my house but it's calm now.

We be OK, had some real rough thunderstorms and high winds from about 4:30 to about 5:30, some trees down and minor wind damage to a few houses.

The leading edge is just about here. Might be tough getting any sleep tonight if this thing raises a ruckus.
