Anyone owned a 4.7L Jeep WJ?

i got a salvage yard,in my opion the 4.7 mtrs are junk.every day they are on the hot line every body needs one out here. i get 1000.00 to 1200.00 for them, and they sell as fast as i get them. but then thats just my opion.

That could be... engines only last so long, and people put a TON of mileage on these things. Usually, the folks that own them are not "enthusiasts", if you know what I mean. They just drive them till they puke. :dontknow: They made a shit-ton of these motors... so, naturally, there are a shit-ton that now need new motors (after 150,000+ miles). Obviously, the engines you are selling aren't "junk". At least I hope they aren't.

all have made it through my60 day warannty. but like the 2.7 intrepid mtrs.i just hope they last. one day good next day they knock.
