Anyone used Mahle Pistons before?

I know what I would use and am using.

I am taking a poll to see what others feel are the best and/or best value for our engines.

pay for what you get:D

I stay with wiseco, only ones left made in the usa;)
Kinda like our trucks, oh wait, mine was made in Mexico! lol

You can get a cheap piston, diamonds can be had for around 8-900 , but why take the chance?

je's, wiseco, is about all I would trust if i was spending 8-10k in a motor, shortcuting a build is not neccessarily the best thing to do

I carry the CP , Je, hastings, total seal, speed pro, diamond, srp, ross, wiseco, aria, and a couple others, the reason i stay with wiseco is they are the only piston company with there own foundry here in the usa, the rest have there plugs imported from mexico.
so i support american industry
all pistons are cut on the same machine, a nakamichi(yeah cant spell) but they are all cut on the same machine and use the same machining process's , its the difference in the metals that count.

I believe Mahle's are made in Denver, NC. I think I read thet somewhere. I guess thet doesn't mean they are made of materials from the USA, though.

MAHLE makes a very nice piston, coated or uncoated. They actually use these pistons in a lot of indy type real hi revving engines. I would buy em.

Alot of top fuel, etc. run Diamonds, and as mentioned indy, etc have used Mahle for years. Now that doenst always mean your getting the same quality, alot of companies carry value line stuff. I Like JE, Wiseco, Ross, and Diamonds personally. I choose different brands based on application, for example the JE's for SRT4's dont even have the right valve relief in them, so I run Wiseco's instead.
