I am curious. I really enjoy boating, I am thinking about getting a boat, like a 20ft+ for 2010 Summer, does anyone have problems with a SRT Quad pulling a trailer out of the water with the boat?

you'll be fine, i use my RC to pull a 25FT pontoon boat, just don't get the rear tires in the water with the boat on the trailer, i don't have any problems pulling just the trailer out empty(to get the boat off i have to back it in so far the tail pipes are under the water)

No problems at all. I pull my 28' out in regular drive with very little struggle and no tire spin. The other day it was low tide and the trailer dropped off the ramp....pulled it out with no
problem.

two boats i have had, the first one i pulled out with a dually, aft cabin cruiser, sometimes i would need 4wd and then barley got it out. now i got a regular cabin cruiser, and never had a problem with the diesel pulling it out.
it all comes down to the weight of the boat.
be warned.... gas is going up and no matter what BS the dealer gives you it will not really get more than 1-2mpg, or about 15GPH at cruise.

if you want mpg and easy towing, and dont plan to do ocean or rough water then get a bow rider, pontoons are ok but kinda gay, imo. dont think they will hold value well either.

and be ready for the
Break
Out
Another
Thousand

really.....

Same here, no problem pulling the 22' Moomba. Throw it into tow/haul mode and you're good to go.

I towed my 23' Mastercraft with my QC back when it was stock. Delivered boat with it to Alabama when I sold it, towed with no problems. Had to jump on it one time to get around a slow car, man were they surprised when I roared by them! Be easy on the gas when you start moving up the ramp and you won't have a problem.

I tow a double 3-seater jetski trailer with tool box. It weighs a little over 3000 lbs. You really can't even tell it's back there. It never spins the tires pulling it out of the water. The QC's are great tow vehicles.

pulls my 22ft centurion no problem i get 7 miles a gallon though i actually just pulled one 550 miles no prob just like i said 7 miles a gallon that is why she is goin bye bye cummins time!!!!

I get 11.5 pulling my skis at 65 mph. It will pull it in overdrive though, with no problems.

One of these days I will attempt to pull my 25' mid cabin with the SRT10....

Once I get one of course LOL!
