Here's some Apollo 11 photos left to me by my Father - We was the Aircraft Manager for final assembly & checkout on Apollo 11, I just scanned them for a friend.

Excellent pictures. It's a shame we haven't been back there for 37 years. I think by now we should be capable of venturing into the far side of the moon.

Yea, my Dad left me a lot of stuff from those days. When they returned to earth from the moon, they presented him with a moon rock thats about 1 inch in diameter. Needless to say, it's tucked away in a safe deposit box to keep it safe.

They also gave him a screw that was found floating around in the capsule on the way to the moon, they had it mounted on a wooden plack incased in plastic. He wasn't real proud of that one, nothing like a little FOD.

I realize the sentimental value, but do you realize the value of what you possess??? If you are working you wouldn't need to anymore. No matter, that is awesome!!!!!!!

Yea, I know it's basically priceless, but there is no amount of money that could ever get me to sell it. It was my father's prized possession and it comes in second to me (Truck first LOL).

It will be my son's someday and I hope he in turn leaves it to my grandson.
