Are polished wheels clear-coated?

Does anyone know for sure whether the polished wheels that come on the SRT-10 are clear-coated or not? Just curious about what products are appropriate for cleaning the wheels.

My usual wheel cleaner says not to use on polished wheels. I have a mag/aluminum wheel cleaner which is fine for polished wheels, but unnecessary (and useless) if they're clear coated.

If they're clear coated, the best thing seems to be just normal car-wash soap and water.

Also, just out of curiosity, do any of you have an SRT-10 whose wheels are NOT polished? I know it was a $600 option, but I looked at dozens of SRT-10s before buying mine and not a single one came without the polished wheels...

THEY ARE CLEAR-COATED !... I use simple-green and water, drip/dry!
I think they only come either chromed or polished.

Yes sir without a doubt clearcoated!!!

Machined are clearcoated.Not sure on the polished as i never had them.

On clearcoated wheels treat just like paint..clearcoat is paint.

Carwash soap,rinse ,dry.Use car wax to protect. The Zaino you use on the truck.
