THE OTHER SIDE

Let's say we stop using plastic spoons altogether.
(Most fast food is eaten with the hands anyway, right?)

- Sales of plastic spoons plummet.
- Plastic spoon companies go out of business.
- THOUSANDS of factory workers worldwide are now unemployed.
- People now begin buying silverware out the wazoo.
- Silverware factories pump more nasty pollutants in to the atmosphere than ever before....trying to keep up with demand.
- Since we're not using plastic spoons anymore, we must wash our spoon after each use. How much WATER does it take to properly clean a spoon? With soap or without? Dishwasher?
- With 5 BILLION people now using spoons and washing them regularly, how long until we run out of water on the planet?

...and all because some a-hole thought he'd save the world with a little JPEG about plastic spoons.
