Artical on Sean Taylor

the man speaks the truth, its happends every day all across our country whats sad if a white guy would have written this he would be unemployed now.....

Wow, he didn't reserve any punches there.

Apparently Sean was no angel, and had never gotten past the turds he hung out with in the hood.

"These bullets aren't checking W-2s." Just another punk kid making 7 figures.

What a shame...... The golden ring was there, just didn't learn how to put it on.

Blacks jealous and envious of each other:dontknow: Why would they want to kill their own race especially when they are succeeding and moving forward?

Pakistan has been a country how long ? and I do believe Hannibal would have to disagree with you on Indians fighting Indians Bro :D White people in this country have fought a couple times LOOOOL The Revolution and the Civil War come to mind  :D

This was tragic but not completely unbelievable. I live in the DC area and am pretty much on Taylor overload right now, but here are a couple of things.

According to the redskin coaches sean was a great leader and was turning his life around, finally. His 18 month old child had a lot to do with that. Yes he did have a troubled past but according to joe gibbs we was turning that around.

I forget the guys name, he played football with sean since pop warner, but he says sean was being threatened for the past three years. Seems the crowd that might have run with him was not too happy to let him escape.

If the investigation is done correctly there is going to be some very interesting things brought to light I think. Unfortunately I just saw a news conference from Miami-Dade county police that initially called this a random act:dontknow:

The one thing that should come to light is all the hanger-ons that are tearing at these young athletes. Their peeps, excuse my hood speak, are the people that pump them up and support them during their amateur days when there is no pay check. They expect something in return later obviously. I think there is a lot of history to support this. The obvious one is of course Mike Vick, he couldn't say no to his boys, and he should have. Does anyone remember Maurice Clarett?? He owed someone a lot of money or something and when he went bust he was in serious trouble. He had all those guns for a reason, called protection.

I could go on and on about this, but in short Sean Taylor was finally trying to distant himself from unseemly people and they would not allow him to.

Call me crazy but it seems like this story has happened over and over................if you grow up with nothing and then become fat rich overnight like pro ball players.............move the f#ck away!!!

Like Chris Rock once said..............if I buy a widescreen tv........##### will steal it from me when I am not home................

Its sad he died, his GF, his kid and parents will all miss him...........its a waste of a life IMO.

I did talk to someone today about this a little and asked the same question, why not just move away?? This person has some very good experience with pro basketball and football players. His response was, "you can't be that stupid", i did feel bad for a little. The miami group could care less about flying up here and blowing you away in chevy chase.

I hear ya Jeff................but its like this to me............in life if I find out somebody I have become friends with likes to do drugs, I dont hang out with them anymore. They can do all the drugs they want, just not with me around, cause I'm gone. I make that choice...........and thats my point. Everybody makes choices in life. Thats all.:)

I hear you but we are not talking about anything you and I can get our heads around. We are talking about something that is in a different realm. We can cut ourselves off from unsavory people and they could care less about us because we are not their meal ticket. Sean Taylor and others are a meal ticket and they can't give them up. Just too much money. Most of these player owe something to people that supported them when they were nothing. If they turn their backs on them, these desperate people will do anything to keep their quality of life up.

It is a serious shame that someone was trying to improve their life and the people that have nothing but him and other like him can't let go. These people think that Sean and others owe them something, which they don't. I will never understand this because I'm not from that environment. These athletics go through so much that the most of us can not understand.
