Well,held 6paks Garage #8 this weekend,and got to do another mod to the drop kit that was installed !!! When I purchased the drop kit privately,it didn't include the shackles,so I used the stock shackles that the directions say is doable too !!Well the ride was kinda rough at times,but tolerable !!! One of my DTW buddies brought down a spare set of shacles,we cut cut them down some so they didn't interfere with the dual duals,and maaaaaa nnn am I so much happier with the ride now !!!WOW what a difference !!!Even the rear seat passengers were much happier !!!!:rock: :rock: :rock: So my suggestion to anyone wanting to use the Stock Shackles with one of Boomers kits,DON"T !!!!:rock: :rock: :rock:

Chitt,that's one thing I didn't get a pic of !!!Here's a pic of the X-Metal drop with my stock shackles,all the new shackles did was raise it about an inch at the leaf spring !!!But what a difference that inch made in the ride (that's what she said too) !!!!:rock: :rock: I'm now a way happy MOFO !!!!!
