got a call from jase yesterday for the first time for a few minutes. he made it through the crucible. will get to see him thursday. i got me a new Marine.

Eddie and Dawn are at Parris Island today. Got to see Jase yesterday but could not talk to him. well the 10 day leave went by really fast. dropped him off at the atlanta airport at 330 this morning and he called me a minute ago from a hotel full of marines. said life was good. there was a liquor store, titty bar and a taco bell across the road.

just a little update, Jase graduated form ITB this morning. he flies to Camp pendleton today. his next class doesnt pick up till June 3rd so there may be a slight chance he will get to fly home monday or tuesday for recruiters assistance. i've learned not to hold my breath congrats to him on finishing this step in his career:rock: trying to get the phugger to send some pics.

slim chance jack, if he gets recruiters assistance he will show up, also muzzy he changed his job to having something to do with a armored personel carrier. i havent a clue. he did say he may get to shoot a mini-gun
