The flooding has been really bad! 7 People dead already. Many people without power, and the rescuers being challenged to get to the people that need help.


Hope everyone is ok!!

We are in a motel tonight and probably tomorrow too. Water rushed down the hill behind our house, and came in somewhere. The entire downstairs was soaked. I have ripped up all of the carpet and vinyl flooring. Sucks, but we are fortunate, a child that goes to the same daycare as our kids was swept away. I can't even immagine the heartbreak...

The kid that got swept away was the grandson of some folks that are friends of friends down in Atlanta. His grandfather works at Harley-Davidson of Atlanta. Please keep this family in your thoughts, I can't imagine for the life of me what they are going through right now.
