I doubt that anyone who has ever spent more that a few minutes with non-extreme Moslems would agree with the statement. Once again it is the lunatic fringe that is the problem, (on both sides). It's people that are the problem...let's put the blame where it should be, on the radical fringe.

Maybe I am the only one who believes this, but the hundreds of people that I know that follow Islam worship the same God I worship, and strive for the same things in life that I do. There is only a difference in interpretation...read the Koran...you will see how easily that it and the western Bible can be interpreted in many, many different ways...again a human issue, not an issue of religion.

Roy, I do have a big problem with the so called mainstream Muslims though. Why aren't they speaking out against the "extremists"? Why aren't they saying that those are not true Muslims? Why aren't they helping us to root them out and exterminate them? When they step up to the plate and do this, I will give them my respect. I believe the problem is the condition of the human soul and how it manages this thing called "free will".....

Any time our religious precepts include the extermination of all non believers, it can no longer validate God in it's process or its precepts.

Godliness and goodness are inseperable. Anything that separates us from goodness, love, charity and kindness is antithetical to Godliness.

I believe firmly in the potential of mankind to live their lives in a Godly manner.... But, then again, we have this miracle/curse of free will....

I do vaccilate in my anger towards the ambivilance of peaceloving Muslims..... But, perhaps many of them are simply laying low in the hope of preserving there own lives......the most primal urge of our species.

Unfortunately, self preservation within this context carries with it an even greater liability.

These maniacs have no respect whatsoever for life on this earth. In fact, they operate quite to the contrary, they worship death. So, it seems only prudent to persue victory by a wholehearted dedication to accomodating them.
