I was sorry to hear your business failed in your for sale thread. I purchased your SCT Tuner that you told me was unlocked. Upon receipt of the Tuner, I found it was still VIN locked to your truck. I have sent you multiple messages to work this out. I have even offered to split the cost of having SCT unlock it. You have not responded to any of my requests.
I have sent emails to your paypal account and they come back undeliverable.
I have filed a dispute with paypal.

If anyone has any contact info for Jay please let me know. His business (Ace's Automotive) has gone under. By the sounds of this: Ace s Automotive | Ripoff Report Directory | Scams, Frauds, Reviews And Complaints
he wasn't the most honest guy.

I may be own my own here, but any help would be appreciated.

Damn bro sorry to hear it didn't work out for you as me. I had a SCT that was forsale when you bought yours (just sold it to a fella in Canada) but I would have gladly sold it to you....
 
Wish I would have bought it from you. Right now i'm struck with an expensive paper weight.
 
WOW looks like you were dealing quite an ass hole and a ripoff according to those online reports............sorry to hear you got scammed by this lowlife..if you have an address I have a few biker brothers in that neck of the woods who might be happy to look this beauty up for ya ;) easy to see why his business failed :rock: as you can only treat others badly for so long before karma kicks ya in the ass..................

Paypal is pretty good about getting your $$$ if its legit complaint...and you see to have a legit one....
 
I bought one of the brake pedals from him. Took a little while but I got it, and it was at a good price. I know that it does not help you, but maybe there a lot of crap going on right now. I hope for his sake that he makes it right for you.

Key word is that I WAS sorry to hear....

After reading about how he conducted his busniess, it's not surprising it went under.

I don't have much faith that he'll make it right. I'm hoping paypal will be able to resolve it.

Time will tell....

DIABLO X22 hasn't been on. Last visit was 02-16-2011
 
I believe it's $150 to unlock the SCT.

I have been monitoring his status. I sent him PM's several days prior to him going offline.
 
Just checked again.
His last date on was 02-16-2011

Well, he got the Registry account too.....

I'm just glad it was only for a brochure and a Maintenance CD

OH well, the Registry took the hit. I hope the few extra dollars helps him with his troubles.....

Can I write this off as a charitable contribution

Maybe tithing for some obscure religion

or

I can just know that I was Honorable in my dealings and that I just have to hope that others will try and do the same...

That sucks. Something tells me were not going to be seeing him anymore.
 
Yea, well..... I guess I learned my lesson.....

I guess the frustrating part for me is, I'm sure he had the items for sale and probably has/had every intention on sending them.

I will keep an eye on my mailbox, you never know, there is still a reasonable hope
