Back to the cold...
I have been talking to several people about upgrading my audio system in the truck.
The question is which head unit?:dontknow:
I have thought about both single and double din units and still not sure which way to go...
I want, DVD, Nav, Ipod, and Sat. Any suggestions.
and please don't forget,
:needpics:

Found it J.R.
Looks great, I posted there as well.

Mike. Still trying to decide on single or double din huh?? I know it can be a difficult one. I think the Double Din screens look awesome. I just refuse to cut up my dash. Guess an extra dash panel could always be bought:dontknow:

I went with an iPod ready Alpine head unit with retractable touch screen with built in DVD/CD and XBOX aux. Added an Alpine Blackbird NAV unit and SWIX steering wheel controls and it's all done. The Blackbird NAV unit is a portable device that docks in the truck for direct on screen controls. If I have to leave the truck and walk somewhere but still don't know where I'm going I can take the Blackbird along with me as a hand held touch screen with the same voice promts... But Dom's unit looks a bit more simple to deal with..

The sale ended, so I couldn't see how it worked.
I'll see if they have one in their web store.
Thanks for looking out.
Mike

Never mind...
Helps if you scroll down.:p

I think the swirls are meant to be there. They look like my dash in my 08 Bullitt. When I changed my factory unit in my truck I bought a double din (06) off of ebay for an SLT. I just sanded it down and painted it to match the truck. It was a lot of work but I couldn't find the correct SRT version. I'm still lookin for that. Good luck in your search...
