Authorized software update

On my ECM on my firewall there is a sticker that says "authorized software update" overlapping original Barcode sticker. You guys have that?

Its just a sticker stating that a dealership service dept did an ECM flash update.

Ohh okay thanks. Why would that need to be done?

More than likely it fit the description of an issue that possibly the former owner had, looked it up in the system and found a TSB (Technical Service Bulletin), simply it may have even been a recall for a reprogram, or customer requested to see if any updates in component software was available to be flashed.

Mine was just update before I went to PCB, They put the sticker on my front core support.
