Auto Steps on 2005 QC

Hey guys I need some help. I have the automatic running boards on my 05 QC and the passenger side step seems to not want to come out sometimes. Its not a problem for me but the wife has a hard time getting in. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do to fix the problem. Thanks for any help.

Grease, check voltage, send back to manufacture for repair.

Here are the Installation Instructions in .PDF format. It looks like there is a control box that runs the system... it should be in the engine compartment or under the dash. One of the circuits could be malfunctioning. :dontknow: But hopefully it's just a loose wire on one of the "door ajar" circuits.
