Auto Tranny Woes

Just figured I would post this up. Had issues with trans, missing actuator spring, burnt up clutches and steels as a result, crappy shifting, and the lastest, a valve body replaced. Still crappy shifting (delayed under WOT) and bonus problem, slipping at very light throttle from 1-2.

Solution, tech was tired of taking trans apart to chase gremlins and decided to order a new one. Rebuilt trans arrived and will be put in sometime next week. Hope this one is better and does the job. Will post up after it is replaced and broke in.

If yes, they didn't question your SCT?? considering it removes torque management, I would be glad to hear they had no issue with warranty with SCT - unless, of course you reverted back to stock tune

Did the SCT cause the issue b/c of no torque management?
No F-n WAY!!!!

Trans had problems long before the SCT tune was installed and of course when it goes to the dealer it gets flashed back to stock anyway.

The problem is most likely the crap valve bodies but I am not going to argue with a rebuilt trans either. I just want the thing fixed.

The truck has been there so much the past couple of months its riduculous. The last time they cleaned it up and kept it inside the garage next to the service department while the parts were on order and it sat for over a week. I guess if it ain't going to be drivin around it might as well be eye candy. Maybe I can rent it out to the dealer for a display.
