Try Patrick, Avondale on this forum.

thanks bone --will do.

I got my Hemi filter through him. My SRT tran parts from Suncoast during two installs. Try them if he doesn't have them. But I would be surprised if he doesn't.

PM just sent to Patrick but will try Suncoast if he doesn't have them---Thanks again Bone.....

I made the mistake and bought a gasket before I found out it is reusable so don’t waste your money as far as the filter goes I’ll have to check when I get home where a got it but it was cheap. Make sure you adjust the front and rear bands while you have the pan off.

Thanks Joe -- I was planning to adjust the bands and install the shift kit I purchased a few months ago...they didn't include a gasket and filter with the kit....so i was looking for a spare just in case I screwed up the old one ----

Hey Jim,

I’m happy with the way mine turned out. I did the transgo shift kit about a month ago it did firm up the shifts. But for some reason after the install it was shifting way too early but I was able correct that by adjusting the throttle kick down cable very simple fix.

I’m sure you’ll like it if you want firmer shifts. By the way I did the two holes in my valve body. One hole = firm shifts…. Two holes= Very firm shifts see destructions I mean instructions… hehehe.

Good luck,
Joe

Hey Joe ---I have the trans go shift kit and was debating on the 1 or 2 hole part....the only one that I have heard from on this mod was oldguy, who did the 1 hole and said he loves it but may change to the 2 hole on his next trans service----how hard are your shifts?

Well Jim it’s hard for me to describe but I guess it would be safe to say that under heavy acceleration your passenger or passengers could end up suffering from a mild case of whiplash… HaHaHa

I really like the hard shifts…I don’t even notice or pay much attention to the shifts anymore unless I’m getting on the throttle hard. The first time my wife rode in the truck after the install she thought there was something wrong with it.

If you are concerned about it shifting too hard just drill the one hole first you can always go back into it and drill the second at a later date. But all in all I think you will like the harder shifts.

Joe

You did not buy a Viper Truck so you could have sloppy shifting, go with 2 holes.

Be sure and listen to me I have a 6 speed.

I've always installed my shift kits for the fastest, hardest shifts in the past----2 holes it will be Joe.........

Fatjack looks like I will listen to you hahahaha even though you have a 6 speed..
