Auto Trans

All right so I've read a ton of threads with the problems on the auto trans and was just wondering is this a luck of the draw type deal. The truck I bought has 55,000 miles on it and is mostly stock but it shifts pretty hard, I realize someone may have done something do it all ready but are there people out there that have autos that haven't had problems?

52000 miles stock motor and trans. no problems what so ever - just always gives a real nice solid shift. I really don't beat on the truck though. The few times I've got on it as one other poster said it will chirp the tires from 1st.-2nd.

Mine worked perfect also. Just got on the interstate one day and hit the gas to pass and noticed she didn't pick up speed as fast as normal. Two days later 2nd 3rd and 4th slip. Still have 1st and reverse :/. Haven't had time to pull the tranny. Need to get it ready next week and get the parts in.
