...And I beat everyone (new Z06 Corvette included). I missed the official autocross yesterday, but meet up with them the day before (Friday) at the "school". I guess I schooled them...ha ha (joking). It was a lot of fun to get to know my new Viper in that respect. I didn't think I would do as well as I did. My time was over a second faster than the 2nd place car. I will have to do it again to see if I am as lucky in the future, although I am at a slight advantage, as I have my shifter kart to practice with.

Looks like you had a blast! Congrats on the times...

The other Viper owners were pretty impressed, they said the Vettes usually beat them on the small tracks. I felt so bad for not going yesterday...I didn't want the vettes to win :D. But hey,:star: its all in fun...

I did an autocross in my Viper a few years ago with the SCCA at Denver International Airport. The Viper has too much power for the short/twisty autocross circuit and I usually spun the rear end from underneath me. I'd like to try one in the Ram.

I'll be doing a car show and drag race event in Norton, KS this weekend. I finally get to open up my Ram and suprise a few rods and other various vehicles I hope. I'm gonna get a video guy to come along.

CarDude,

Congrats on your track time. No doubt your karting experience was a key factor. I think I'm jealous!

My karting helped me realize how to apply the power. There was a ton of braking. I had the left foot on the brake and the right on the gas. My wife said I was the noisest by-far. It probably cost me $50 in tires since these are ridiculiously priced...stupid run-flats. A blast none the less. I was think it would have been fun to go back with the Trailblazer SS. Then maybe I could beat the vettes with their own engine....

Great pics.....of course I would stare at those mountains all day if I could.....oh ya the cars were great too....:)

Yeah...the event was at Keystone Resort. It was a blast. I wish I would have went on Sunday, so I could have officially won, since Saturday was the "Driving School." People really love the Copperhead color...and so do I. It's very different than the rest of the crowd.
