Im installing a tranny temp gauge today and just wondering which cooler line i should hook the gauge up to. Or should i have a bung welding into my tranny pan?

Yea thats what i was thinkin. Im gonna be putting my valve body with shift kit back in soon so pan needs to be removed anyways. Do you know which line i could hook up to for now just to have an idea of how hot my tranny is untill i pull the pan next week

Well looks like ill be waiting untill i pull the pan in the next week or so then. Untill then ill keep crossing my fingers that this new tranny isnt getting to hot lol. Thanks guys

i would guess it would be the line that goes to the top on the trans cooler(that should be the hot fluid coming out of the trans, lower on should be the cool(er) fluid after going thru the cooler) not sure which one it is on the trans but you could follow the lines back to it.

Thanks bud. Unfortunitly i got a custom build SRT-10 so i have aftermarket cooler also. Ill try shooting a temp gun and both lines and figure out which one is the hot line and use that for now. I definitly wanna put a fitting on my pan when i pull it off though.
