Just get some grade 10 or so :D :D :D  :marchmellow: :marchmellow: :marchmellow:

They should not have broken unless they were working loose. Like Denise said put in some grade 10 and tighten them periodically.

WOW, I made a tec post backed up by an expert :D I did, I did:D :D :marchmellow:

are you two done stroking each others ego now lol:D

my shifter broke at the top where the ball was at i just rethreaded it and screwd the ball back on!

When I had my B&M I stripped a bolt, and I got a replacement from a local bolt and fastner store. I would bring one to the store as a sample to make sure that you find the exact match. Should didn't be to difficult to find.

Ya what he said ,i think

I am finding the studs that come with the shifters are breaking alot. just put the B&M shifter in my Cobra last week and today as I was putting in the new clutch the studs in the shifter were sheared off when I went to loosen them.

All hardened bolts are not created the same. Grade 5 has 3 marks grade 8 has 6 marks , go fiqure:confused: Grade 10 bolts will not shear off unless you have an arms like Lbstone:D :D :p  :marchmellow:

Right on:D :D Stainless will never attain the shear/ tensile strenght of a good carbon steel , particularly in the 300 series alloys, to much nickle (soft) and to much chromium (brittle) in the other SS alloys.:argh: :argh:
