B&M or X-METAL SHIFTER?

I had the B&M and now have the X-Metal Gen IV.......both made vast improvements over the stock shifter....which is better?...I wouldnt pay a dollar and a quarter for the difference....;)

Nice!!!! Any shifter is such an improvement over the stocker.......you will be happy with either choice.

I will never run anything other than an X-Metal Gen I. The way it shifts for me is amazing. And after I did the mod to it, it is 100% quiet.

Now that is just my opinion, you do what makes you happy.

I dont know the exact length but they must be close because I didnt notice any difference when I switched from the B&M to the X-metal...both have 2 adjustments for length..
 
I got in two B&M shifters today , one is going to spacemonkey, but they are $250 shipped, so i will have one left to send out if anyone is interested

when installing the aftermarket shifter i used a piece of heat shrink and put it over the shift lever and heated it then used a razor to cut the holes out. that took all the harmonics coming from the tranny out of it.
 
I love my Xmetal shifter who cares if it's a lil noisey if you think this shifter is really noisey drive an old ford or chevy pickup with a old 4 speed.
