b&m shifter question

today i installed b&M shifter in my 05 rc and the thing sounds like shit.are they supposed to be real noisy or maybe i did something wrong i would be grateful for any input on this.thanks.sounds like vibrating marbles and darth vader on life support.

i took a piece of heat schrink and put it on the shifter handle and cut out the holes for the bolts and it quiet'd it down a lot.

I've noticed an increase/decrease in noise just from changing shifter knobs:dontknow:

that is where my rattle was.... had it welded up and bye bye rattling noise
