But that P.O.S. slave cylinder sucks!!!!!! after 12 passes no It did not give out, ok after 130mph racin and smokin and m5 nope. at the FU(&^% stop light when i can block the turning lane :rock: :rock: :rock: But the B&M did make a hell of a differance no miss shifts from 2-3 now after I do the slave and clutch (winter project anyway, I will finally get some good numbers:burnout: and some et street F&*& the dr's I took them off didnt do better but them bastages are still soft after 3 hrs of sittin:confused: I thought I would be pissed:D but not since winter is a coming fast it was 50 so I had to go:marchmellow: :marchmellow: Plus I have a back up vehicle so no worries but you guys where right again 23k miles and 24 passes in 2 weeks is all it takes:slug: :p :thefinger: :help:

yeah It was part of my winter project now I can just start sooner, oh well I was waitng for it to happen I thought It it was gonna go last weekend. thanks again:burnout: :burnout: :burnout:

No way hoser:( Im still stock:p its just the master cylinder was at the light when to put it in 1st foot fell to the floor like I was wearing cynder blocks on my feet, actually at first I was :mad: wtf because it has been along time since that has happen, almost like when the brake booster goes out and you get that pit in your stomach for a second. But oh well I am pretty much done with HP your right tha is plenty for daily so now I will work on weight and traction :burnout: :marchmellow:
 
not only did I join the crank pulley wobble club - went to shift from 1-2 pedal went to floor - new master on the way. 04 rc 32,000 mi any tips on bleeding after the new one is in?

Most folks are going with the Viper master and slave cylinder. You can get a complete kit through Justin (JMB) one of our vendors. With 32K you might as well go ahead and change out the clutch to the Centerforce as well.

STANDARD PROCEDURE - BLEED CLUTCH
To determine if the master cylinder assembly
requires bleeding or if the complete system requires
bleeding:
(1) Uncouple the clutch master cylinder line from
the clutch slave cylinder with quick Disconnect Tool
6638.
(2) Slowly depress the clutch pedal.
CAUTION: Do not apply too much force as this will
cause the uncoupled male coupling to blow out.
(3) If the pedal feels hard in a relatively short distance,
air is present in the clutch slave cylinder.
(4) If the pedal feels spongy air is present in the
master cylinder assembly.
LINKAGE BLEED
(1) Remove the reservoir cap taking care not to
damage the diaphragm (Fig. 1). If fluid level is not
up to the step in the reservoir add D.O.T. 4 brake
fluid.
CAUTION: Use only D.O.T. 4 compatible brake fluid.
Other than D.O.T 4 will cause system malfunction.
(2) Slowly depressing the clutch pedal while opening
the clutch slave cylinder bleed screw (Fig. 2).
(3) Holding down the clutch pedal and tighten
bleed screw to 15-20 N·m (11-14 ft. lbs.).
(4) Repeat Step 2 and Step 3 two times then check
fluid level in reservoir.
(5) Pump clutch pedal rapidly a minimum of 10
times. If clutch pedal still feels spongy, repeat Step 2
through Step 5.
MASTER CYLINDER BLEED
(1) Uncouple the master cylinder line from the
clutch slave cylinder, with quick Disconnect Tool
6638.
(2) Remove the reservoir cap taking care not to
damage the diaphragm. If the fluid level is not up to
the step in the reservoir, add D.O.T. 4 brake fluid.
CAUTION: Use only D.O.T. 4 compatible brake fluid.
Other than D.O.T 4 will cause system malfunction.
(3) Open the male quick connect coupling by
depressing the poppet in the coupling while depress
the clutch pedal to the floor.
(4) Close the quick connect coupling by releasing
the poppet while holding the clutch pedal to the floor.
(5) Release the pedal.
(6) Repeat Step 3 through Step 5 two more times
and check fluid level.
(7) Couple system back together. Then pump
clutch pedal rapidly a minimum of 10 times.
(8) If clutch pedal still feels spongy repeat Step 3
through Step 7.

Will have the rest of me parts by weds, went with centerforce pretty good price through work and viper slave, master is still good. Also are trucks for as much as they weight are pretty easy to push around in the shop. man this tranny is so itty bitty compared to what I work on and I heard someone say the clutch was heavy LOL that is light. do a v10 cummins now thats a heavy clutch or cat. But if it is good weather this weekend then off to the track:burnout: :willy: :driver: :vroam:
 
clutch master cylinder

After examining the master - it turned out to be the diaphragm. the diaphragm sucked itself to the bottom and the sides of the resovior so tightly that it wouldnt allow fluid to pass down the line. Almost tore it trying to release it from the sides, but got it out - bled the system and its now fine.
Never seen this before on a clutch master, but thats what it was - sent back the master and all is good - food for thought for others.

You may know this already but I'll say this for the benefit of clarification. I don't think you can use the Ram master with the Viper slave. The Viper master and slave have to be used as a pair.
