So the Brazilian people are very generous and helpful, they will give you the short off their back, but they operate on Brazilian time.. ..if dinner is scheduled for 9pm that means you show up around 11:00...
The food is some of the finest this side of Italy, but Brazil is not some place I could live. The poverty is heart breaking, the crime has is sooo bad (this is no joke) that at night you...do not.....ever.....stop at a red light...
We had dinner with my Master's old boss a very sweet, very rich building contractor who showed up in a "please don't notice me Ford escort like car" and when we left the restaurant his body guards had brought a different car for him to drive home while they shadowed him in a 3rd....just no way to live.
Gas is just over $5.00/gallon and that is for a city where poeple make $200/month so the biggest car I saw there was a Toyota 4 Runner....can you imagine the looks on peoples faces if they saw our Trucks rolling down the street..man it would be a hoot right until we all got shot...
The only place where you could leave your stuff unattended was at the tournament...obviously........
To answer the belt question....I am wearing a 2nd for scoring purposes...My scoreboard was yellow and green...all scoring is through hand gestures...the ref is wearing a yellow/green wrist band...when he gestures with that hand...he is refering to my score...
I will have video on Saturday...when I figue how to upload it...I will post a fight......
