Joe H. from KP Racing. Anyone who went to TX2K13 saw the car out there. He appears to be ok. Goes to show that safety is something that should never be overlooked.

WOW!!!! Thankfully he's ok

The fact he's OK is a testament to how seriously his team took his safety. Glad he's OK.

If it wasn't mentioned it's a Camaro, I'd have never known. Looks like scrambled car. Not too appetizing. Sure glad the dude was able to live and tell about it though. 220 mph is no joke.

A couple of tac welds and some bondo and touch up paint, good to go! haha jk, but that's cool he wasn't seriously hurt. Would be interested to know the dynamics of how he survived, like one of those computer simulations or something. Would be useful information for anyone considering these types of activities to help them evaluate their safety systems in their vehicle for these kinds of races.

Also, looking at the first picture, the driver's seat and the cage around it appear to be almost untouched, all things considered. Kudos to his team and their setup.
