Ever since I had the Volant CAI put on, my truck idles bad until it warms up. The tach jumps up and down, and at times almost bogs down completely. Once the truck is warmed up it's ok, except for when I stop at a redlight or stop sign. Then the tach jumps a little (only once) before going back to a smooth idle.

Is it possible they screwed something up when they put the Volant on. If so, I haven't been able to find anything.

there is a vacuum line on the intake that is alittle underneath, make sure thats on correctly

also sometimes the idle controll valve goes out and causes that symptom, usally it goes out on forced induction but I have heard of it going out on a N/A truck as well. its right on the passanger side of the throttle bodie, cant miss it it has a electrical plug on the side of it, also you can go to the dealer and have them reset the values on the ICV.
