Bad News

Ok I took a look at the filter and it was far from "blown open".... we're talking maybe 1/4" long, and barely visible.. I could even see a rock or something maybe doing it.

Odd side note, if any of you had seen my other thread about the weird noise i had... its gone now. I think i had a funky filter or something....

look behind the intake manifold, you'll see two small square white boxes next to a blue one of same size....all of those are new filters

technically speaking, I suppose his filter has a crack and it is not on crack ....

I use OEM filter's too -nuthin like stock

i use napa filters...

though...with all the miles, i tend to only have them in a couple months at a time...

NAPA actually has a great filter.... not sure who makes them, but they are good.
