The Second Amendment:
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Shall not be infringed. Ever. Never. Period. And when some liberial whack job tries to change the constitution, I will be there ready to defend it.

I truly hope and believe that there will be a second American Revolution in the future. Our goverment has turned into the exact thing that our Fore Fathers tried to avoid. It has gotten to big, it has infringed on our rights on numerous times. It has become a overgrown, yet impotent monster that nobody can control. It over taxes us, it has made it's way into every avenue of our daily lifes. Think about it next time you are doing somthing. Anything. How is the goverment involved in what you are doing? Have they taxed you in some way? Have the regulated what your doing in some way? If you think about it there is NOTHING that the goverment does'nt have it's hands into. Our fore fathers thought that the goverment should be run by the people. Ordinary people. Not Career politicians that have so obviously lost touch with the common American.

I am not a Democrat, nor am I Republican.

Hey, I like your attitude and feel the same. This is My Damn country.

This country has been going to shit for the last 40yrs and I have been thinking about what to do about it.

The thing that is our greastest strength,(independence,self reliance,aversion to accepting help from others) is also our weakness, unlike the dems who seem to herd together, it is tough to get people of our ilk to band together.

There is strength in numbers and I believe there may be the three million

like minded individuals we would need to be a serious force for the right

type of CHANGE we need.

I am open to starting another political party composed of persons who would

like to restore real Liberty to our country

Someone with better judgment than me will have to make that choice. I will restrain, or disable some one who attacks my loved ones, I will give my life protecting them. Will I take a life to do that, I think not, I hope not. I trust there is a better way.

And to the question "isn't your own life..." simply, no.

I am a peace loving man,too.And a man of faith.I firmly believe that it is my God -given duty/right to protect my family and myself,and that God will help me to do it.So,I will take the life of ANYONE trying to do harm to me or my family,IF that is the only option left to me.Sometimes my friend,there is no better way.I think of the movie Sergeant York.......when asked why he had killed so many Germans when he was so opposed to killing,Sgt. York answered that he did it to save his own men.

I hope that you find that better way,Roy.While I don't understand your position,I am glad that we have had the opportunity to discuss it.It makes me think.

That vidio hits the nail on the head on the point I am trying to make.

What do you think would have happened if only a small percentage of

those people would have just said "NO!!"?, and sent the politicians a

message with words to the effect ,"Dear Sirs, This joke about taking

our firearms has gone to far. The very intent of the second amendment*

is as the final and ONLY defence against tyranny which surely you would

want no part of because if you persist then it would appear as proof that

you are what the founding fathers meant by a domestic threat to the

United States and we,(all well armed 2,186,000+) members would have a

duty to remove your Dumb-Ass by whatever means necessary and as we

are sure you will be informed if you did not already know, the law enforcement

/military,(over half of them are with us!), infrastructure, resources, do not

exist to handle even a small percent of our patriots.

So in closing HA,HA,HA, that was a good one!!!, glad you are going to call it,

because that would have been the ultimate example of a joke BACKFIRING!!!

* Of coarse the Brit's don't have a Bill of Rights.

But that film does illustrate the fact that self reliant, independant,

people like most of us here, do not band together easily.

Just look at the # of visits to the POLE thread vs the # that voted.

If this was a liberal Dem; club there woud be 4000 votes.
