does anybody have the Bassani on their truck. i am in the market for a new exhaust and i think that i have narrowed it down to the Bassani from X-metal or the Flowmaster for ROE. i have heard that the flowmaster actually lost power but i like the fact that it is louder than the magnaflow. i know that a lot of u guys on here love the magnaflow but i just can't justify putting on new pipes form the cats back when they are already new and with the chrome tips. i would love to hear a sound clip from eathier and i would appreciate any help. thanks

Heh I ordered my magnaflow before I even took delivery of my 10. Is not about justifying it. Its about what sounds/looks good to YOU. You gotta look at it as an upgrade. IE your not fixing whats not broke. Your ungrading.

So am I to understand your just gonna weld in a muffler? And as for loud. I think the magnaflow sounds great with just enough sound.....now at WOT its screams, its a real attention getter. I still have my cats but plan on the catless midpipes next year, which will make it even louder.

yea but i am 18 years old i would like it to be really loud

Why loose power. Magnaflow is the best bang for the buck. Cut the cats out and your fricken loud, and not loosing power only adding to it!

To be 18 and have this truck!!! Dude, there arnt many of you. Dont let any of your friends drive it. They wont know how to handle the snake!

Why ?

Install a catback for HP gain....15-20rwhp

Install mids ?

15-25 rwhp gain

Sound ? Ten times better than stock....period

i don't have the money right now to put on the high flow mid pipes. if i did i would put on the x metal with the billy boat.

So nobody on here has tried the bassani??

Does your state require cats ie smog check or something? BB is quite nice but extremly pricey. There is a dude here with Bassani headers but I am not sure about the muffler. Bassani seems to be more of a ford deal.

Cutting cats out with a magnaflow is probably your cheapest route to a better sound and improved performance. I would never sacrifice performance/loose power for a better sound. Just wait and do it right the first time. Spend your money once.
