Should i Re-use the original gaskets??? my dealership wants 135 for each gasket to like 270 for both.... I dont want any leaks and would like to know of some good tips for the 06 r/c install. Anyone that has any info it would be appreciated. also what about bolts?? re-use stockers??

Buy the multi-layer metal gaskets (I think they're Mopar) and the Stage 8 header bolts (come with retainers), and you'll never ever have a leak.:rock:

Im doing the same thing. Can you re-use the existing gaskets if they are in good shape? I guess the only way to know is when you take them off and by then if they're not in good shape, you're kinda screwed, huh???

Purchase a new set of the OEM gaskets....its not worth having to replace them again.... The OEM gaskets are the best option.

:angel: Too Funny! I didn't disconnect my battery either.

OEM gaskets are the safe way to go, oem bolts work great also with no loctite just a tad of antiseize (don't use the supplied bolts).

Bassani instructions says to use the OEM and the one supplied.

WEll used new grade 8 bolts and installed everything. Problem. Everything is bolted up and leak checked. GOOD News. Nothing wrong! except the headers are touching the plastic. I drove it 2 mins to get home and park it in teh garage were ic ould trouble shoot the problem. I dont know what to do here. It is just the passanger side that i see the problem on. ANy info or tips would be greatly appreciated. THanks for the gaskets DRAGON they were killer

If I remember correctly, someone with an 06 model had to cut some of the inner fender plastic away to correct this issue.

i have an 04 and still had to trim the wheel well on the pass. side

so just trim it, like cut it neatly and thats it???? nothing else had to be done? no heat shielding or anything?

Just cut..........though you could heat shield....I cut mine but I am going to revisit that sometime....I just dont like that hole..........but cut or shield because it will melt the plastic quick...
