Bassani Shorty Question

My air is on the rich side based on what I see out the tail pipe and my A/F gauge. When on the dyno you don't get the same air flow you do on the street.

You need to check A/F on each bank separately....my truck spent about 5 hrs on the dyno being tuned and never did the headers glow....only time I had an exhaust glow red was on my former SRT8....installed ported heads and had a push rod jump out of line....cyl 1 was not firing..

We're talking tomato ketchup right...? Cause my Del Monte bottle says "ketchup." Oh and so does Heinz. It says it right there on the bottle.

I did cut about 2" off the fender but they are still melting. When I dyno'd it they were glowing red.

I have Bassanis also and I have no complaints. Sound a lil better and look alot better!!!! But I have also had mine glow RED a couple times. Thought it was normal, IDK. All I have is headers, no cats, and a Gibson muff.

For those who have them coated. Do you still have melting issues of the inner fenders? The Bassani's seem to go out pretty far and seem close to the fenders. Thanks for the replys it helps.

The reason for the questions is that I have Gibsons now but the coating was not done right so I have to take them off to get them recoated. My thought is to get them fixed and then sell them. Getting the Bassani's instead so I don't have to leave the truck in pieces while I wait to get the Gibson's back. Just wanted the opinions to see if this was a wise decision. In other words are the Bassani's better than the Gibsons?
