Bassini header gaskets

well i was right ,,dont use the gaskets that come with these headers after 15 mins of running i slid under truck with flash light cause the side i used thier gasket i could hear a leak ,,,i plan on putting oem back on otherside now ,,the side i reused oem is working great ,,,much throatier sound ,,cant wait to roast some pavement:D

Use em both, the oem against the head, the bassani against the header, torque em and forget em .... worked for me...... went back to retighten after a week and none needed ......... Good luck.

I just used the OEM gaskets and have driven 5000+ miles over 7 months since installing the Bassanis and have never had a head/header bolt to be loose.....the flange bolts have been a different story..
 
i bought a new set of oem gaskets and have had them on 2 yrs and no leaks yet. still tight too. checked them when i changed the plugs a month ago.
