For those who have done it.

What yall doin with the sensor under the batt?

Clip the wires and twist?

Or extend wires and mount under battery?

Thanks all!

What kind of sensor is under the battery? :dontknow:

I've seen it, I'm guessing it is a heat sensor. If so, you can just tie it up in the loom.

Temperature - used as a PCM input for voltage regulator for battery charging I believe.

So, if you just leave it hanging, the PCM will think the battery is always at ambient temp and charge accordingly. Does that matter? Not sure of their charging plan and how much it depends on temperature. Seems to me there may be an opportunity to overcharge since the PCM won't know the battery is getting hot.:dontknow: :dontknow:

JMB has a nice kit. adapter plate gives a nice place to stow the wires and other items.
