Battery replacement Q

gotta get a new battery guys and will probably get an optima.

But which would be best to get , the regular red top? or the deep cycle yellow top marine style?

After reading on them I think the red top would be fine, since the deep cycle is more for high power sound systems or high ign systems

any suggestions appreciated thanks

So far great! Finishing it up now, making sure all the cables are in place.

Red Top Optima from Costco.

Yellow is for stereo/sound system type apps.

Blue is a deep cycle marine style battery.

To each their own, I myself put the Yellow top in my Duster, and if I was going to put one in my truck I would also go for the yellow top. Just my opinion.

I agree. If money is not an issue, a good deep cycle will rarely let you down. Considering where you are mounting it and the ass hop because of the light rear end, the heavier lead and sponge lead plates in the deep cycle would be more durable. Also my opinion.
