Battery shut off

Question for the ones that have a remote battery, moved to rear.
How do you set up the kill switch to shut down the altenator.

They are really picky on rules. I dont want to drive 5 hours to race to be turned away.

What no one has moved the battery to back and have tech card issues with location.
Thinking of just putting a quick disconnect to the alt wire and unplug when at track.
rules required shut down switch, which I have but will not shut off power due to the alt keeps it running.
I just dont want to drive 100 to 400 mile to a track and get turned away.

Don't know about the battery shutoff but, you may need a driveshaft loop at most tracks now.
