Anyone downloaded the new blackberry storm version 5.0? If so whats your thoughts?

Is it true i have to download it to a computer to upload it to the blackberry? I dont have the internet at home. I called Verizon store to see if they could do the update, they said they offer no update support. WTF!

Yea, you should have the blackberry desktop manager, just plug it in and it does everything for you.

there is a way I think, go to crackberry.com or blackberry.com (same people,1 is offical the other ehhhh) there is way. I did it with the 4.7 when it came out they give you the instructions.

I havent done the update on my storm yet...I think ill do it today if i have time.

Did it! Worthwhile upgrade! Makes the camera MUCH better!

They have the Storm 2 at BJ's, and I talked to the rep there... he said that after the upgrade to 5, he wouldn't trade up to the Storm 2 just for the Wi-Fi...
