BBK TB & X Metal Shifter????

Any of you guys have the bbk tb in your rc how did u like it and how many hp improvement??? Also with the xmetal shifter any of u guys have it how did u like it..? Is it a good mod to do or neh?

bbk is good, i think tony's from jtsv is better , he's got the dyno results, shifter is tony's for sure , its adjustable, clicks right in there, x metals i tossed in the garbage.the throw was to long, go with tony's all the way he did his homework on that one.:rock: great mods to do , you will love your truck more then ever. i do

Enjoy my gen 1 jtsvp shifter. It's solid, close tolerance and smooth. Like a glock. His new one is even better. Buyers remorse on my roe tb last month. Although the throttle response is rediculous, I am planning a mod that will require a spacer. Jtsvp can come already tapped for giggle juice and synod better than the bbk.

My vote. Jtsvp for both parts.

i just installed a BBK and really havn't noticed much difference from stock but driven much either. it is 2mm bigger flaps so should let in more air at WOT. jtsvp is abit bigger yet. trainman claims some really good gains with tony's but he has some custom porting of his intake manifold.

How many mm is the bbk? Jtsvp is 68 mm.

i would go with the JTS venom TB and the JTS venom Shifter.....

Ive been trying to reach tony but just dosent answer every time I call him it rings but never answers.. I wanna get the gen 2 shifter but theres no customer service to attend

You have to understand Tony. He does alot, and this is the biggest complaint it seems. Him and I have talked about this in the past. Here in the future, things will be changing.

i have never rowed an xmetal that i liked (and subsequently, never bought one)...

i have the b&m and i hate it... it's noisy... and the shift lever is now an inch farther forward in the cab toward the radio bezel and now i have to "reach"...

i'll be getting a jtsvp one... and custom bending the handle...

I hate the Xmetal shifters and the Hurst is better but not by much. That or I got a bad one? Tony's shifter does look to be an awesome design, but as for the throttle body..........ROE ROCKS!!! BBK is right there with the Roe for sure. Just my .02:chain:

I have the B&M shifter. I love the shift but hate the Rattle!! had to put 75/90W oil in the trans to quite the rattle ,and it works better ,cold, but when the tranny warms up 5th and 6th are annoying!!!! Just a T56 thing, not much can be done without rubber isolation but then the shift will be less firm.

I just installed the gen 2 jtsvp shifter and it is awesome. Well worth every dollar. Looking into his tb now after seeing the quality of shifter. Just my 2 cents
