BCS chaos

WVU just lost to Pitt, holy crap.

Mizzo is losing to OU.

So here is my very biased take on what should happen.

OSU should move to number one, but their schedule should move them down, They are a joke this year and did play the BCS. If VT played Richmond instead of LSU we would be number one. LSU has a bunch of key people hurt which does not make them as good as they could be.

VT should leap frog to number two. Georgia and Kansas did not even play for their conference championship, so I think I am not completely nuts in saying this.

Yes, I am a VT homer, but we have gotten all our people healthy and the teams in front of us are lacking something.

Being a transplant here to OH (and in Columbus no less), I've slowly come to figure out that it doesn't matter if the team goes 1-11....as long as that "1" is Michigan.
It's creepy and bizarre, but true.

I watched my first Hawai'i game last week. Holy crap can that kid pass!

I'm not a big football fan, so I'm not sure who goes to what bowl, but from all indications OSU will be ranked #1 and be headed to the BCS Championship game.
That's about as far as I got.

Yep, you are right for sure. A-Rod is a great player, but he does not bring it when it counts.

As far as the NHL salaries goes, don't forget they are playing in a much smaller arena and they don't have the TV contract like baseball. Baseball still generates a lot of money from the TV and radio contracts. Hockey does not generate the interest that baseball or football does.

True, but the TV/radio/media money is a drop in the bucket compared to the merchandising cash that's brought in.

Yes, I forgot about that one But there is not a huge market for NHL jerseys like there is for NBA/NFL/BB jerseys.

I did watch most of the Hawaii game, what a slinger Colt is. Being born in Hawaii I love seeing them do well.

Watched the BCS unveiling a little bit ago. Pretty much turned out like I feared. OSU makes me sick uke:

Living in the middle of the "Hawaii Madness" with their team and Colt Brennan..............its awesome. The support this state has for that team is amazing. For the first time they have done it........a perfect record season of 12 and 0. Colt is a celebrity here but you wouldnt know it, he is so humble. He is a class act.

Going to the Sugar Bowl is an awesome accomplishment. The team, town and state are so proud. Its a great time to be living here and being a part of it all.

Good luck with UGA in the sugar bowl. I will be pulling for colt and his boys

I honestly believe he is the number one vote for the heisman. Who else has lifted his team up to a national level. I don't think anyone can argue this one.
