So...now that I got the Magnaflow installed, Im working OT for some headers. Who's got a good price on some Belanger Long Tubes with High Flow Cats?

Watch out for brutal Drone at 3-4 thousand rpm with that set-up, I switched the catback to Borla because of it.

It will drone but if you hate your neighbors and love loud exhausts you will be happy. ...and make sure to listen to Justin and get the stock gaskets...

10-4 on the stock MLS ex. gaskets.

i'm runnin the Cometic MLS gaskets. done good so far.

some good stainless steel bolts & some kind of lock be nice also.

& if ya really really want to piss off your neighbors run the Belangers with their catless mids & PowerStick mufflers. ya can made windows rattle & folks jump just startin her up, lmao

Remember Your neighbours won't hear the drone inside the cab, for you it's not about how loud it is outside.

The Borla catback just makes that brutal drone/hum (that only you suffer) alot better.

If you are stuck on the Magnaflow catback I would think about putting in a cross (x or H) pipe in front of the muffler.

If you are looking for outside loud, both set up's are about the same.
There is just a little less snap crackle & pop with the Borla.

When I called the guys from DC performance on this they said there are 2 kinds of exhaust tuning 1 - performance and 2. for acoustics.

I had the old Hemi Daytona Truck with the loudest exhaust ever. I had Pacesetter Longtubes with no cats with a Aeroturbine 3030 muffler dumped. 3 inches from collector to tip! Talk about drone....sounded like Nascar!

I've listened to all the exhaust sounds that were posted in the exhaust thread! I can't wait to get some headers, programmer, intake, t-stat!!!! Gotta keep it cheap for now and save up for the forged internals and a supercharger with a built tranny!

Im 33 yrs working on the 34, but I love LOUD EXHAUST AND HORSEPOWER! It's like an addiction! :driver:

I once let a young woman with her daughter cross the street, while I patiently waited in my Hemi. When the little girl got across to the other side she stuck her tongue out at me and made a bad face......so I pulled up next to them and gave it the old neutral rev.......I got an million dollars that says the little girl doesn't stick out her tongue and make bad faces anymore! She jumped and screamed...... needless to say I had my tongue out making a bad face when I did it!

Another time my loud exhaust prevented an old man from smashing into my drivers side. He wasn't paying attention so I gave him some exhaust and he jumped back into his lane!

So I like to think that LOUD EXHAUST HAS MANY WONDERFUL PURPOSES IN LIFE! I may be in my 30's but I always will feel like a big kid inside!

How much for just the headers and gasket?

$1549 for the headers, $53 for the gasket set. Stock style mids will not work with these obviously since they are longtubes.

That's my setup....Bellanger, hi flo and Magnaflow. Drone can be annoying especially with passengers not used to it (wife). Drone is 1000 times worse when towing the boat uphill.

You might try a cross-over pipe in front of the magnaflow muffler, It worked for one guy I talked to, for not much $$$.

I second the vote for some chambered Powersticks.

I'm working on building some 2.75" core versions right now. They will have 3.5" outer bodies & will be more tame than the 3" versions which are purely BRUTAL!
