For you guys that have them I am putting them on my truck right now, and from what I remember don't I need a gasket between the header and the mid pipe? I did not get any with my order and maybe things have changed from 20 years ago when I used to do this on a more regular basis. Sorry if it seems like a stupid question. Thanks for the replys in advance.

I imagine if you clamp it down tight enough? Do you need a gasket? I am sure the next time at the local Exhaust shop I can find one for you. Might not get a perfect fit without one and have a little leak. Or high temp liquid gasket.

not a stupid question at all.

Bellanger says to use high temp. sillycone for the flange.
seems to work good.
i'm runnin copper flange gaskets at the moment. doin a good job also.

Thanks guys, I'll be running down to NAPA for some high temp silicone.

I would suggest using the Mr. Gasket Copper Seal Collector Flang Gaskets.

I get mine here :)

the 3 1/2" is part number 7178C, 3" is 7177C, and 2 1/2" is 7176C
