belt tensioner squeak!

I am new here. My SRT10 is squeaky when engine is not fully warmed up. They say it is the belt tensioner which is on back-order at this time. There are supposedly orders for (8) around the country at this time.

I had My Qc for 7 months now and Never experienced any Sqeaking sound:dontknow:

Yeah mine squeaks when I first start it up for a couple minutes but I can hardly hear it most of the time. Maybe I should go to the dealership and become order #9. Na I'm not that worried about it. If it gets worse I will or when I get close to my warranty expiring.

Had mine replaced under warranty!!

Shoot a little dw-40 into the bearings and if it shuts up you need a new one!!

same problem -- i replaced the serpintine belt & no more squeaks when cold.....:rock:
