just arrived here and ...... bought an SCT and 170° T stat from......Torrie (i've heard he knows well SRT-10 RAM.. :) )

While waiting for the SCT, it's time to think AIR intake.
but with the GAZ system i have on my car, there's not all the space that you have and i THINK, i cannot put VOLANT, MOPAR or K&N system.

Who has a VOLANT and can give me the exact size ?

i would like to use that beautifull hood scoop for a RAM effect.
but cannot find a system that use it.
this type of thing is good (without supercharger)

The hood scoop is more for letting the hot air out, than bringing cool air in. I think the best CAI out there is the one Justin at JMB makes... they look sweet:D

Justin's CAI is the best looking intake out there but the best one for performance and only real CAI is the one your truck came with....the choice is do you want bling or perf?..

Justins looks the best. The K&N filter drop in add the most HP. But only 5 give or take. Go for the bing and sound. Buy Justins.

performance - Mopar CAI / volant CAI

looks - Justin's

cheap - stock

i will be installing a mopar CAI this weekend - so far i'v had

stock drop in / volant / justin's

now i will be installing a mopar

and PLEASE remember " IMHO "

How about this one:

I've heard this said many times, but I'm not sure I buy it entirely. The reason is: the Gen I and II Vipers came with flexible, ribbed intake tubing (like the trucks, only smaller) from the factory, except for ACRs which had rigid, smooth tubes and K&N filters. Those smooth tubes and filters were enough to certify the engine for 10 more horsepower and ft-lbs, and smooth tubes are commonly one of the first mods for owners now. When I look at a stock intake on a Ram SRT-10, I see a giant version of the stock intake tubes on a Gen II, with pleats and creases all over the place. Is there really nothing to be gained by smoothing the airflow through there?
