I've currently got the top of my motor apart and I know people use a lot of diffrent sealants. I personally use Indian head glue usually, but I was just wondering if dodge has something they recommend and what every ones personal opinion on what the best is?

Also, do anyone know the torque specs to the valve cover bolts?

Thanks to everyone that has helped me out in the past my truck has came a super long way since purchasing it in plan on posting before and after pictures of the truck and the bay after I assemble the truck back together

The valve covers are O ringed, no sealant is used. Just make sure everything is hospital clean and you can lube them with some light oil if you like.

    The FSM specifies 95 INCH/lbs using a criss-cross pattern to tighten ...

If you use a bolt made from stainless make double sure you use anti-seize.

If in doubt, use the anti-seize anyway, it can't hurt.
