Best sled for uner $1500

any ideas what i can pickup cheap? saw some artic craps, a few polar-r-us, and a few ski-roo's.
just not going to Florida for more then a week this year, and want my first sled for putting around on. yeah i love speed. just needs to be reliable.
something that if it goes thru the ice i dont cry. i really have no idea how to ride one, lol. but the sled riders will murder me if i ride my quad on the trail during winter.
